Roy is a published novelist, short story writer, poet, comedian, journalist, essayist, game designer, scriptwriter/doctor (film/radio/TV), and internationally award winning playwright — 42 (47 by mid-2009) plays published. 600+ known productions worldwide in Aruba, Australia (Perth, Melbourne, et al), Bangladesh (Dhaka), Bermuda (Hamilton), Brazil (Brasilia), Canada (Winnipeg, Montreal, et al), China (Tianjin), France (Paris & Nice), Germany (Aachen), India (Mumbai, Dehra Dun, New Delhi, Bangalore, et al), Indonesia (Kelapa Gading), Iran (Tehran), Italy (Milan), Japan (Tokyo), New Zealand (Wellington), Nigeria (Engugu), Phillipines (Quezon City), Poland (Gdansk, Warsaw, Cracow, et al), South Africa (Durban), Switzerland (Bern), Thailand (Bangkok), United Kingdom (Edinburgh, Manchester, Groomshire, London, et al), and, of course, the United States of America (LA, NYC, et al).

Bats right, throws right. Owns over 100,000 comic books, and has READ (nearly) every one of them. Still pulls out his D&D books, dice, and miniatures, and gives his players a good old what for from time to time, although, darn it, he’d rather be out LARPing. Wishes V&V would have caught on bigger.

Roy received his high school diploma from Pillager in 1983. In ‘86 he received his Associates degree from Central Lakes College-Brainerd. In ‘89 he received his Bachelor’s degree in English/Speech from Bemidji State University. In ‘98 Roy earned his Master’s degree from Bemidji State University.

Presently Roy resides in Hibbing AND Bemidji, MN. Married Cynthia nee Teller 8/1/92 (couple since 9/87). Three children, Riordan (b. 7/3/99), Rex (b. 8/23/05), and Revelin (b. 12/12/08). And his greatest days are still far ahead of him.
