According to my records this will be the play’s 30th known production overall, and my 2nd in Utah. The grand total is now set at 645.

Speaking of Heuer, had a great talk with Steve the owner/publisher today about where Heuer is heading, filming stuff, and their brand new printer, which means they will now be offering do-it-yourself choose-and-pick anthologies — which also means (at least) more unit royalty sales for moi as well. They will be offering standard anthologies as well, and I have to admit I am excited to find out which plays get into how many.

My editor at Heuer has informed me that MARRIAGE… AFTER DEATH by Abbey Ferrier and myself, a zombie-themed one-act comedy, will be published in the following months after RODRIGO… The play is Abbey’s first to be published, my 49th.

Just found out that my children’s fantasy play SHITA-KIRI-SUZUME will be performed 12/11/09 in Coupeville, WA, another one of my plays that made its debut at Bemidji State University back in the day.

This will then make my 13th production in Washington and the play’s 17th production overall.

SUZUME is also the first play I wrote entirely on my own, and was the second of mine ever to be produced and published (then by International Readers’ Theatre, Winnipeg).

My adaptation of D. H. Lawrence’s THE ROCKING-HORSE WINNER will be produced for two performances at the Dakota Prairie School in Petersburg, ND starting on 11/12/09.

Found out today that the performance rights to GRANDPA JIM IS DEAD (w/. Michael Paslawski, https://www.hitplays.com/default.aspx?pg=sd&st=GRANDPA+JIM+IS+DEAD) have been picked up by the Miami Beach Teen Club of Miami Beach, Florida.

That’s the show’s first production in Florida and its 27th overall.
